Star Trek
This Thanksgiving weekend, I saw the new Star Trek movie on blu-ray on my parents massive TV, and it was an awesome experience. Watching all of the extras on the disc was awesome. You got to see how all the costumes were made, how all of the sound effects were created (by one guy!), and best of all: I got to see the cast having fun.
I always like to think that the cast on a movie, or any group of people who present themselves as a group (sports team, cast of a movie/tv show/play, etc.), are all friends with each other. This is often not true, and it makes me sad, but what makes me so much happier is when it turns out they are all friends!
Every cast member had nothing but nice things to say about JJ Abrahms and the other cast members, and it was all so genuine. My favorite are the outtakes of the cast just joking around and goofing off. Makes me so happy.
